Bio/Artist Statement

A teacher by day a pottery by night, Cathey has been creating utilitarian stoneware for a number of years using earth-tone colors and natural forms. She finds inspiration from the beauty of the forests and mountains surrounding her home as well as from her two llama, Moonshadow and Eclipse.
