Over Jo's career, she has painted diverse genres, including charming realistic landscapes and florals in both watercolor and oils. Since 2008, she has expanded into abstracts, "painting from the heart" as inspired by objects found in nature. Website: jokelley.com
William Whittell
spring creek NCWilliam has been an artist for the past 45 years. Originally from Miami, he moved to Spring Creek in 1999. His family background is Irish, Scottish and English, very much like the Appalachian people from this area. William says that he feels as if he has finally come home. Whittell creates unique "leaf" paintings by capturing local scenes and critters on actual leaves he gathers from native trees and shrubs. The combination of natural artistic talent with Nature's leaves produces delightfully unexpected paintings. Website: n/a

Cheryl Whitt
Asheville, NC
Cheryl A. Whitt began her ‘leafing’ career officially in the Fall of 2002. That year the leaves were so spectacular that she found herself stopping her car at any given corner to collect leaves. This pressing process started with no particular direction in mind but ended up to become a driving creative passion in Cheryl's life. Cheryl spends hours walking in the native woods of WNC, collecting then drying and preserving her little bits of the Smoky Mountains for her artwork. The unique framed art pieces she creates are an organic blend of Nature's art with her own artistic flair. We bsite: n/a
