In fact, Melinda Knies (MOUNTAIN MADE gallery owner/manager) has said, “Lisa’s work is just wonderful. The first time I saw her Mermaid series under light, I thought it was stunningly beautiful and almost exploding with colors!”

“The complexity of colors in each of her mermaid pieces is simply spectacular. The shimmering water-like effects come from the reflective material and elements she uses plus the flowing lines of each design that work perfectly, just layered one over the other…”

“Lisa has created not only wonderful pieces of art but she had also produced ‘portraits’ that showcases the personality of each her individual mermaid characters…”

Melinda goes on to say, “This is why MOUNTAIN MADE art gallery is proud to announce we will be hosting a 30-day exhibit of the “Mermaid Series” starting June 1, 2012. We have already had a lot of interest in the Mermaids just from the posters alone …”

“…Not to mention June 1st is also Friday for our June downtown ART WALK event … We will have plenty of wine on hand, plus some light refreshments and of course Lisa (Ringelspaugh-Irvine) will be here to talk about her mermaids and sign art posters.”

If you are traveling to WNC and will be in Asheville during June then we invite you to drop by our gallery to view this wonderful art. Click for store directions or call 828-350-0307 for more details.

i am honored and delighted to have my girls all together for their first public appearance at Mountain Made Galleries!

After years of working in water color, working in mixed media was quite a leap of faith for me. I have followed an old friends advice. She said, “It is not enough to go out on a limb. You have to be willing to crack it off!”

The free fall has been exhilarating.Thank you, Melinda Knies and the staff of Mountain Made for making this exhibition such a joy.
